Frankfurt Motor Show, Frankfurt, Germany (September 15-27, 2009)
The 2009 Frankfurt Motor Show was well supported by car manufacturers and by the public, with about 850,000 attending the auto show. Despite all the talk about zero-emission electric cars, the 2009 edition of the IAA Frankfurt Motor Show was littered with high performance production cars with the Mercedes SLS AMG gullwing supercar and the Aston Martin Rapide making their world debuts, not to mention the Ferrari 458 Italia, and the four-door Bugatti Galibier 16C and the Mazda MX-5 Superlight concept cars.
