Renault is one of the oldest French car manufacturers with a long history of popular sporty little cars such as the Renault Dauphine of the 1950s, the Renault 8 in the 1960s and the Renault 5 of the 1970s. These little cars caught the attention of some top tuners of their time a result, such as the legendary Amédée Gordini and Alpine. Their creations, and the success they achieved on the race and rally tracks, have left a lasting impression. Some of their creations still adorn some of the top custom car shows 50 years later!
