The 2009 Tokyo Auto Salon was one of the first and one of the biggest custom car shows of the year. The show was held in the Makuhari Messe in Makuhari, Chiba about an hour out of Tokyo. As usual, the show attracted the best custom cars from Japan's top tuners, such as Top Secret and Varis. The 2009 event was huge with a total of 388 automotive companies present, over 600 cars on display and over 3,000 booths with the hottest new cars and tuner parts on display.
