The Aston Martin DB9 is a grand touring sports car that was first introduced in 2004 and was the first car to be built at Aston's Gaydon facility. The DB9 was designed by Ian Callum and Henrik Fisker as the successor to the Aston Martin DB7. The DB9 is produced in coupé and "Volante" convertible form, and is powered by the 6.0-Liter V12 engine found in the Aston Martin V12 Vanquish. In 2006, Aston Martin introduced a "Sports Pack" for the DB9, which includes a stiffer chassis, lighter 19-inch forged aluminum alloy wheels, a lower ride height, and revised spring and damper rates.
